International youth football tournament, Blackpool Cup.
Since 1994, this sportive international youth football tournament in Blackpool is a huge hit. The competition takes place on one of the biggest sports accommodations within the Euro-Sportring program. Fourteen pitches on one location make a solid foundation for a successful competition. Not only the football but also the extra activities give this tournament its character. At the Blackpool Cup you can go the giant theme park Pleasure Beach Resort, for example. Facilities
The Blackpool Cup takes place on 2 locations. The first location is in the southern part of the town on well used council pitches and the sports park of AFC Blackpool. The matches will be played on 6 grass pitches. Furthermore there is a tournament centre with a marquee, a clubhouse with a canteen, various buffet stands for snacks and beverages and a limited number of dressing rooms. There is also a restaurant very close to the tournament complex. The pitches are council pitches and they receive considerable wear and tear throughout the season. Teams should be aware that in places these pitches may be in less than perfect condition. The second location is situated at the North of Blackpool in Fleetwood at the sports fields of Rossall School. Here the matches will be played on 6 well maintained grass pitches which are in outstanding conditions.

The starting from price includes participation in the tournament, stay and meal(s), but excludes an entry fee per team.
Remarks
Licensed referees are invited to participate under special conditions.
The number 1 and 2 of each group (except U9, U10 and U11) go forward to the knock-out stage of the Blackpool Cup.
The 3rd and 4th teams of the group go forward to the knock-out stage of the Challenge Cup.
The U9, U10 and U11 categories will be played as a two-day 'football festival' without the intention of finding a tournament winner and presenting winner awards.
All teams will play in sections against as many teams as possible within the maximum playing time per day allowed by the FA and UEFA.
General Dispensation for all categories: 3 players born on or after 1st September of the year before.
Due to different deadlines set by national soccer associations in category U19 the tournament organiser has granted dispensations for:
Teams from Switzerland, Belgium and Luxemburg: all players born on/after 1.1.92.
Teams from Italy: 5 players born on/after 1.1.93.
Teams from USA: all players born on/after 1.8.93.
