Stay
As well as participation at the tournament, Euro-Sportring also arranges the accommodation for the participants. Participants can usually choose between school accommodation, group accommodation (youth accommodation and bungalows) and hotels. The accommodation we offer has been selected with care and must comply to a number of conditions, such as: are they within easy reach of the sports park, do they provide value for money, are they suitable for sports groups, are they safe and is the management flexible.

Catering:
The tournament dining hall is located in the canteen of the school accommodation of the Beuken Cup at about 4 km from the sports complex. During the tournament different kinds of snacks and drinks will be sold in the canteen.

Touristic information
Hasselt.
Hasselt, with its 68,000 inhabitants, is the pleasant capital of the Belgian province of Limburg (in the east). It's a town for the true 'bon-vivants', while also being an important trade centre and a paradise for tourists. The most well known shopping streets are the Demerstraat and Koning Albertstraat. The centre also features lots of monuments, museums, restaurants, pubs and discos.
By the Way: the public transportation in the centre is free of change.

Visit Maastricht.
Maastricht is a city founded in Roman times. This city on the river Meuse in the south of the province of Limburg is regarded as one of the most pleasant cities in the Netherlands. Apart from many monuments, the city offers many terraces and restaurants, for example on the famous 'Vrijthof' square in the centre. You can make an exiting visit to the caves of the St. Pietersberg, a few miles from town.

Subtropical swimmingpool Hengelhoef in Houthalen/Helchteren.
10 miles from Hasselt, is a subtropical swimming pool with slides and a wave pool.

Domein Bokrijk
Is a large open-air recreation park with many leisure possibilities e.g. enormous play ground with slides, play-castle, mini-cars etc. There is also an open-air sport complex with tennis courts, mini-golf and football fields.

Amusement Parks

Funpark Bobbejaanland in Lichtaart, 25 miles from Hasselt.
Is one of the most famous theme parks in Belgium with plenty of attractions and shows. Children's land, exciting rides and different multilingual shows, means there is so much to do for every age, A full day is recommended to make a visit worthwhile.

Walibi Belgium in Wavre, 45 miles from Hasselt.
Features the Belgian favourite park no less than 50 attractions and shows where young adventurers find themselves caught between sheer terror and wild loop-the-loops of the most elusive of cobra rides. As for fugitives in short trousers, they'll b delighted to escape to the fabulous Bugs Bunny Land where they'll finally be able to stroke Sylvester's coat or experience rock and roll with the whole Looney Tunes Gang.

Program introduction
The organisers of K. Herk Sport, from Hasselt region, are known for their hospitality. Add five fine grass pitches, a big clubhouse and a great atmosphere and they offer all ingredients for a succesful international soccer tournament. K. Herk Sport offers a programme which, depending on the results of the teams, leaves enough possibilities to explore the area in and around Hasselt, the attractive capital of Belgian Limburg. After the opening ceremony, which will take place on the main pitch on Thursday evening, the teamleaders will be welcomed by the organisers in the clubhouse. The teamleaders meeting is the possibillity to meet the host and other soccer friends. The Beuken Cup will kick off the next morning with the preliminary rounds. In the evening, after dinner, participants can enjoy the Penalty Cup Competition. On Saturday the tournament continues with the preliminary rounds and the classification matches. The finals, the climax for every participant, will be in the afternoon and will be in a Champions League style. Teams not taking part in the finals, can visit Hasselt (see tourist info). The weekend will be concluded in the nearby hall, where K. Herk Sport organises, during an evening with entertainment and music, the prize-giving ceremony.
