Stay
As well as participation at the tournament, Euro-Sportring also arranges the accommodation for the participants. Participants can usually choose between school accommodation, group accommodation (youth accommodation and bungalows) and hotels. The accommodation we offer has been selected with care and must comply to a number of conditions, such as: are they within easy reach of the sports park, do they provide value for money, are they suitable for sports groups, are they safe and is the management flexible.  

Other information
The tournament dining hall is located in the canteen of the school accomodation of the Hasselt Cup at about 1 km from the sports complex.

Touristic information
Hasselt, with 70,000 inhabitants, is the pleasant capital of the Belgian province of Limburg (in the east). It's a town for the true bon-vivants, while also being an important trade centre and a paradise for shopping tourism. The most well known shopping streets are the Demerstraat and Koning Albertstraat. The centre also features lots of monuments, museums, restaurants, pubs and discos. By the Way: the public transportation in the centre is free of charge. Subtropical swimmingpool Hengelhoef in Houthalen/Helchteren, 10 miles from Hasselt, is a subtropical swimming pool with slides and a wave pool. Domein Bokrijk, 3 miles from Hasselt, is a large open-air recreation park with many leisure possibilities e.g. enormous play ground with slides, play-castle, mini-cars etc. There is also an open-air sport complex with tennis courts, mini-golf and football fields. Visit Maastricht, 16 miles from Hasselt.
Maastricht is a city founded in Roman times. This city on the river Meuse in the south of the province of Limburg is regarded as one of the most pleasant cities in the Netherlands. Apart from many monuments, the city offers many terraces and restaurants, for example on the famous 'Vrijthof' square in the centre. You can make an exiting visit to the caves of the St. Pietersberg, a few miles from town. Walibi Belgium in Wavre, 45 miles from Hasselt, features the Belgian favourite park no less than 50 attractions and shows where young adventurers find themselves caught between sheer terror and wild loop-the-loops of the most elusive of cobra rides. As for fugitives in short trousers, they'll b delighted to escape to the fabulous Bugs Bunny Land where they'll finally be able to stroke Sylvester's coat or experience rock and roll with the whole Looney Tunes Gang. Note: worthwhile for a full day. Funpark Bobbejaanland in Lichtaart, 25 miles from Hasselt, is one of the most famous theme parks in Belgium with plenty of attractions and shows. Children's land, exciting rides and different multilingual shows, means there is so much to do for every age, A full day is recommended to make a visit worthwhile.

Program introduction
In Hasselt, better known as the pleasant capital town of the Belgian province of Limburg, RC Hades organises already for the 13th time this tournament and therefore knows exactly how to receive guests. After the arrival and dinner in the tournament dining hall on Friday, the participants can either go into the city centre to taste the local atmosphere or visit the local indoor swimming pool for a free swim. On Saturday, the first group matches will start and in the evening a Disco on Ice-Show will be organised at the local ice-skating rink. Both activities (swimmingpool and ice-skating) are also possibke on Saturday afternoon. On Sunday, after the last preliminaries, a start will be made with the intermediate rounds followed by the finals. After each final the price-giving will take place. This will give the teams from a short distance the opportunity to go home in the evening. For those who stay, the clubhouse of RC Hades will be open for a happy-together.
